Our mission is to expand young people’s interest and skill in science and mathematics through the creation and dissemination of state-of-the-art programs and materials, and to offer educational services and opportunities to young people in the areas of safety, health, and technology.

The Science of Collisions

CRASH! The Science of Collisions evolved from the teaching materials developed by Prof. John Kwasnoski for NHTSA’s "Lethal Weapon" training course for prosecutors and law enforcement. The CRASH! materials use actual motor vehicle homicide files to challenge students to solve a mystery using mathematics and science.
